“My son has Celiac and allergies to peanut, tree nuts, sesame, eggs and shellfish. This restaurant really gets it. The owner was walking around the entire time, answered our questions, mingling with customers….very nice and reassuring. Restaurant is clean, food is absolutely delicious. They have multiple kitchens and menus.”

“Staff was well trained; entire line changed their gloves even though one guy made the pizza from start to oven with ingredients from down below instead of from the line without us even asking. We did request a clean cutter.”

“The staff are super knowledgable and the menu is clearly labeled with dairy, nuts and shellfish and questions about other allergens are always clearly and thoughtfully handled. Food allergies and eating out are something I dread in general, but with Capitol Cider I can order a glass of wine and relax with my family and enjoy being together instead of anxiously managing the food.”

“Wildfin makes most things from scratch, so they can tell you what’s in every menu item, unlike many restaurants. The few times a server was unsure how to answer food allergen-related questions, he or she was frank about it, then went to check with the chef.”

“This is a gluten-free, vegan bakery/restaurant so gluten, dairy, and eggs are nowhere to be seen (unfortunately, nuts are still in use, but the items they are in are identified).”

“The manager was was incredibly friendly and helpful about my allergies. She double checked multiple food items’ ingredients and ask for clarification and the cooking staff also clarified certain needs with me.”

About AllergyEats Top Restaurant Lists
AllergyEats Top Restaurant Lists are based on the allergy-friendliness ratings of eateries, per food-allergic reviewers on the AllergyEats app and website at the time of publication, and not the restaurants themselves. AllergyEats encourages diners with food allergies to use these Top Restaurant Lists as a starting point when seeking dining options and to always disclose allergies to the wait staff, ask questions about ingredients and food preparation, and carry allergy medications.
