Uno Chicago Grill becomes the newest partner in the AllergyEats Great Gift Card Giveaway

I am very happy to introduce Uno Chicago Grill as a new national partner in the highly-successful AllergyEats Great Gift Card Giveaway.

Uno’s has over 150 units nationwide, focused on both their classic Chicago deep dish style pizza as well as a wide variety of pasta, chicken, steak, seafood, and other classic dishes.  Uno’s also has a strong reputation as an allergy-friendly restaurant, which is further supported by your ratings on AllergyEats, where the chain sports an impressive 4.2 out of 5.0 AllergyEats allergy-friendliness rating.

The AllergyEats Blog entry immediately following this one is an interview with members of Uno’s management team (“An interview with Uno Chicago Grill about accommodating food-allergic diners“).

And for those of you unfamiliar with the AllergyEats Great Gift Card Giveaway, we are now in the 29th week of this program!  Each week, we award one or more $25-50 allergy-friendly restaurant gift cards to randomly-selected participants who simply rate a restaurant on the core AllergyEats site that week, correctly answer a simple (or not so simple) trivia question, or complete some other task.  Each week’s winners are announced on Wednesdays, following which a new contest begins.  You can find a parmanent link to the AllergyEats Great Gift Card Giveaway page on the AllergyEats home page (www.allergyeats.com) or by clicking HERE now.

AllergyEats only accepts partners for the Great Gift Card Giveaway if that chain maintains an AllergyEats allergy-frienliness rating of 4.0 or above.  We currently have 6 partners – BJ’s Restaurants, Clyde’s Restaurant Group, Legal Sea Foods, Not Your Average Joe’s, Stone Hearth Pizza, and Uno Chicago Grill.  (If none of these partner restaurants are near the weekly contest winner, there are other prizes the winner can choose as an alternative.)

One easy way to enter AND help our entire food allergy and intolerance community is simply to rate your restaurant experiences on our core AllergyEats site (www.allergyeats.com) or on our new mobile app for iPhone or Android smartphones.  While together we’ve already built the largest and fastest-growing online guide to allergy-friendly restaurants, we still have a long way to go to achieve deep national coverage.  Remember that each time you take one minute to rate a restaurant (answering just 3 questions), you are helping our entire community.  You can also help by referring a friend or support group.

So please rate any recent restaurant experiences today!  www.allergyeats.com or our new mobile app for iPhone/Android.
